Basic/Basicos

Japanese is not that hard to speak if you would know the basic of the language. Then what do I mean by basics? That’s what it’s all about with this series of posting. I love to get things very simplified and I wish I could come up with the minimum things to learn here. Let’s begin!

Meeting people

Mike has just come to Japan and meets up with Mika, his female friend by email for the first time in Shinjuku.

Mike: Anoo, anata wa Mika san desuka?
Mika: Ee, soo desu. Anata ga Mike ne?
Mike: Hai, watashi ga Mike desu. Hajimemashite!
Mika: Hajimemashite! Doozo yoroshiku!

El japonés no es tan difícil de hablar si tengas los basicos de la lengua. Entonces qué significa ese termino ‘basicos’? Es lo que os presento con esta serie de postes. Me gusta tener cosas simplificadas y quiero minimizar lo que se debe aprender. Empezemos!

Miguel apenas vino a Japón y va a ver a Mika, una amiga de email, en Shinjuku por primera vez.

No mates?/No hay nadie?

I have had a hard time finding out language exchange mates in Madrid and after many tries I finally got three mates on a regular basis. If I were female, things would have been much easier as you could imagine and it’s a kind of global fact that true cultural and language exchange are hard to get. Online exchange, however, goes a different way and I’m getting the longer list of friends each time. The problem is that it’s impossible to have a chat with everybody on the list. Having more than 50 friends on it, the only way to take care of them is to select one or two at a time. I don’t like to be rude but that’s the way I’ve got to do. Otherwise the both sides will end up with a loser. Anyway catch up with me before I’ll be a ‘famous’ guy because it might be too late!:P

He sufrido mucho por no haber encontrado amigos del intercambio lingu’istico en Madrid, y después de muchos intentos finalmente he encontrado tres amigos con quien hago intercambio constantemente. Si fuera una chica, hubiera sido mucho más fácil como os podéis imaginar. Pero es un hecho global que es muy difícil tener amgios del itercambio del sentido verdadero. Sin embargo, tener amigos del intercambio por internet es otra cosa. O sea, es mucho más fácil y de hecho tengo la lista de los amigos en el msn cada día más larga hasta superar cincuenta. El problema es que no se puede hablar con todo el mundo y hay que elegir una o dos personas a la vez. Es la única manera de tratar la situación aunque no quiero estar antipático con nadie. Pero si no lo hago, nos quedaríamos con mal sabor en la boca por no poder chatear con buen humor y tranquilidad. De todas formas, contactame antes que tenga yo fama, porque tal vez será demasiado tarde después!:P

Japan Café

My cousin has always wanted to work in a Japanese style café overseas and probably that would be the best work for her. She is very pretty in kimono (our family profession is of kimono) and knows very well about Japanese cooking. Maybe some day I’ll come up with that kind of café in Europe and will invite her to work with me…

Mi prima siempre ha deseado a trabajar en un cafe con el estilo japonés en el extranjero y probablemente es su mejor trabajo. Está guapa con kimono (la profesion familiar nuestra es de kimono) y sabe cocinar japonés muy bien. Quizás algun día tendría ese tipo de café en Europa y le invitaría a trabajar conmigo…
